Stockpile Facilities & Quality Control
PT Pelita Natura Nusantara is supported by dedicated stockpile and modern machinery in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung, engineered to keep Palm Kernel Shell clean, dry, and export-compliant.

Palm Kernel Shell Processing & Storage Yard Pangkalpinang
Strategically located at Jl. Laksamana Malahayati No. 78, Airmawar, Bukit Intan, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands. Combining large-scale storage with rapid port transit.
Concrete Slab & Rain Tarpaulin Shield
To preserve product quality, the stockpile is constructed with a concrete cement base approximately 20–30 cm thick, preventing soil contamination. The company also covers stockpiled material with heavy-duty tarpaulins during rainfall to maintain low moisture levels for optimal boiler combustion.
20–30 cm Concrete Base
Zero ground soil contamination during loader handling.
Rain Tarpaulin Coverage
Shields material from rain to optimize calorific value.

Clean PKS segregated ready for vessel dispatch
6 Key Stockpile Facilities
Machinery and mechanical equipment supporting PKS processing and logistics.

Weighbridge Facility

Operates 1 unit wheel loader with approximately 3 m³ bucket capacity supporting efficient PKS handling and stockpile maneuvering.

High-output screening machine with cleaning brush on the mesh to reduce dirt accumulation and maintain screening accuracy and consistency.

Mesh size of approximately 3.2 mm dedicated to removing smaller impurities including sand, ash, and soil.

Separates larger unwanted materials such as empty fruit bunch fiber, stones, large debris, and oversized objects 40 mm and above.

Equipped with 2-stage magnetic separation: Stage 4 during screening and Stage 7 in material handling to extract metallic debris, nails, and steel.
3 Main Stockpile Operational Stages
Stage 1: Before Screening
Incoming raw Palm Kernel Shell enters the reception yard before undergoing mechanical screening.
Stage 2: Screening Processing
PKS passes through the 100 MT/hour screening line, utilizing Stage 1 magnetic separation, 3.2 mm fine mesh, 40 mm+ oversize mesh, and Stage 2 magnetic separation in material handling.
Stage 3: Clean PKS Storage & Dispatch
Screened PKS is held on 20–30 cm concrete floors, covered with rain tarpaulin, and dispatched to the loading port.

Raw PKS Inflow
Incoming raw PKS from palm oil mills arrives at reception yard.
Weighing & Yard Handling
50 MT weighbridge recording and wheel loader positioning.
100 MT/Hr Screening Feed
High-throughput vibratory screening with automatic brush cleaning.
Magnetic Separation (Stage 1)
Initial extraction of metal and iron particles as material enters the screening line.
3.2 MM Fine Mesh Screening
Separating ash, loose sand, and fine soil particles under 3.2 mm to keep ash content minimal.
40 MM+ Oversize Mesh Separation
Filtering out empty fruit bunch (EFB) fibers, stones, and oversized foreign materials 40 mm and above.
Magnetic Separation in Handling (Stage 2)
Secondary magnetic separation in material handling line ensuring zero metallic residues.
